미국국립해양대기청이 지난 31일(현지시간) 위성 촬영한 허리케인 ‘도리안’의 모습. 가운데 태풍의 눈이 뚜렷하게 보인다. 도리안은 주택을 무너뜨릴 정도의 위력을 지닌 4등급 허리케인(풍속 210~249㎞)이다. 당초 미국 플로리다주를 강타할 것으로 예상됐지만 방향을 틀면서 조지아주와 사우스캐롤라이나주 부근에 오는 4~5일 상륙할 것으로 예상된다. AFP연합뉴스
